gay bar gone straight
Where to start? Lets see... The music sucks worse than the atmosphere and can't tell if its even a gay bar anymore. I would say though that if you like to do drugs and like the twinks all wigging out, this would be the dump for you. Save your money and go to a straight bar. At least the music would be current.
new
Come on people give this club a break, being the only gay dance club in Calgary they're trying although the music there is dated I can only hope they might find DJ's that were at Metro or Detour to push them into 2008
I went this weekend and it seemed like a really good gay bar to me everybody was friendly and there was about the same amount of guys as girls there and more gays and lesbians than straight ppl.
Horrible Club
Horrible horrible music. Been playing the same awful music for the past 3 years. Never plays anything new. They need to get rid of the DJ, who is also a total creep. The owners themselves are creepy as hell. Str8 women beware of coming to this place, as they descriminate against straight females big time. Try to make girls coat-check their purses if its bigger than a certain size. They sometimes try to make the girls pay cover as well. The only good thing about this bar is good drink prices and bar service. But again the only Gay Club left in Calgary. The Eagle in Calgary spins better music than this place, and isn't full of annorexic female twinks.
Hit or Miss
LOTS of younger guys (-25), lesbians & straight girls who can't hold their liquor. The music is the same all the time every weekend for months on end. I have to give kudos for the parties though, "Studio 54" was a blast!
