I wish there were zero stars to rate this place
Went there on their Wednesday wing nite and waited over 40 minutes for them. Never got them, just paid for my drinks and went to Wendy's. Their claim is they ran out. Okay, then why did they not tell me this and ask me to make another selection. The place was busy and the service there is usually slow but I know I can go to a better restaurant where I can actually pay for getting decent service. Funny thing is the people that own this restaurant also run a catering service as their mainstay. Will not be using them for that or ever visiting them again.
If there was a zero star I would select it
Years ago when it was run by a different couple it was a decent place, but the new owners are horrible. The place was shut down once by the health board, the owner insults customers (actually called a friend of ours a cripple who suffered a stroke), and someone drunk outside was killed. Other than that the other comments are true, dirty, bad service. It seriously would be a hobo bar if not for being gay/lesbian.
....
Everytime I've been here the service, although friendly, was extremely slow. The tables are unclean. The location is not good. The food is pretty good, and the prices are not bad. The main problem with this place though is it's dingy and very unprofessional looking. There's a fine line between 'cozy and relaxed like a neighborhood pub' and just trashy. I doubt anyone would go here except for hobos if it weren't a 'gay bar'.
Okay place.
Nothing special. Just a bar. First time when I came here, the staff was rude. Second time, friendly. I'm neutral about this place.
